A Primary Consultation for Your Orthodontic Options
At Happy Harpeth, we understand each patient is unique and deserves personalized care. That's why we offer a complimentary consultation with one of our orthodontists.
During your consultation, we will discuss your goals and create a tailored treatment plan. We want you to be confident in your smile, and we will work hard to ensure you are delighted with your results.
Once we have determined the best course of treatment, we will schedule an appointment with you for either traditional braces or Invisalign.
Traditional Braces Treatment Process
Whether you are interested in metal braces or clear braces, we can help you find the right solution for your smile. The process of placing braces takes about an hour, and you can go home the same day.
After your braces are placed, you will need to return for regular appointments so we can adjust them as your teeth continue to move. Treatment length depends on each case, but most patients wear braces for 18-24 months.
Invisalign Treatment for Teens and Adults
Invisalign is a popular alternative to traditional braces. It uses clear, removable aligners to straighten your teeth. Invisalign is virtually invisible, so you can straighten your teeth without anyone even knowing you are wearing them.
These aligners are also removable, so you can eat whatever you want and brush and floss your teeth with ease. If we decide that Invisalign is the best option, we will take impressions of your teeth and send them to the Invisalign lab.
The lab will use these impressions to create your custom aligners. You will need to wear your aligners for at least 22 hours per day, and you will need to change them every two weeks.
You will also need to come in for regular appointments so we can monitor your progress and make sure you are on track. Treatment length depends on each case, but most patients wear Invisalign for 12-18 months.
